2020 November Western Regional Tournament Cancellation
It is with great disappointment and frustration to announce that we our cancelling the 2020 Western Regional Tournament.
We have given a great amount of time to all ideas and possibilities to how we could conduct the tournament with the standards you have come to expect and keep our members safe.
Our decision was based on the following:
• The growing surge of Covid-19
• Current Nevada guidelines will restrict the number of available lanes
• Current Nevada guidelines requirements for lane use which requires 1 team per pair of lanes and that the team must bowl all games on 1 lane.
• Bowling center would have to be cleared of bowlers prior to the following squad being allowed to enter.
• Spectators would not be allowed.
• Under the restrictions and more not named, we would not have the environment to produce Sportsmanship, Friendship and Fellowship!
For these reasons and others is why we have made this decision.
• We have received approval to allow Western Regional bowlers to bowl in any of the remaining TNBA regionals (East, Central or Southern).
See you in 2021 and stay safe!
